Film Users' Guides and Facilitation Documents

A short-form discussion guide for all of the SCENARIOS FROM AFRICA films is available for download here in Word format in English (12 pp), French (13 pp) and Portuguese (12 pp). This guide contains a synopsis and a couple of suggested discussion questions for each film.

A one-page Excel table that allows users to identify at a glance which of the films deal with specific HIV-related topics can be downloaded here in English, French and Portuguese.

A more detailed guide for the first 13 films (produced 1997 to 2001) is available for download here in Word format in English (54 pp) and French (59 pp). This document provides in-depth, practical advice on how to conduct an effective screening of the SCENARIOS films. It also includes an individual section on each film along with relevant discussion questions and useful background information on the key issues addressed.

And finally, a three-part SCENARIOS film discussion training program, developed by Sally Honneycott of Emory University in 2006/7, can be downloaded here in English: Introduction (2 pp), Training Manual (27 pp), Resources (21 pp).
